How Poker Analyzers Detect marked Cards
Poker analyzers can read different markings on marked playing cards. Some are printed in invisible ink that cannot be detected by contact lens or sunglasses. Others use strong invisible camera marks only poker analyzers can read. These marked cards are used to cheat at poker.
These cards are usually marked with invisible ink by cheating players at the same table. They need a special infrared lens to be seen and the IR marks can’t be detected by normal sunglasses or contact lenses. They can be used to perform magic tricks, but they can also be used to cheat at poker games.
Barcode marked cards – these are the most common type of marked cards used in Texas hold’em poker games. The cards are standard index Copag plastic bridge-sized playing cards. However, on the back they have invisible barcodes that can only read by a Poker Scanner Camera and Poker Analyzer. The poker analyzer will process the barcode information and report the game results to the player via a Bluetooth mini earpiece.
To scan the barcode marked cards, players need to buy a poker analyzer and an external scanning camera. The poker analyzer has a built-in scanner that can scan cards within 20-40cm. If you are sitting further away from the dealer it is necessary to buy an external scanner camera such as a powerbank scanner, chip tray or bracelet scanner.
